3. William Riley POWERS (Jesse1) was born Jul 1838 in Buncombe County, North Carolina. He died 9 Oct 1916 in Buncombe County, North Carolina. William married (1) Nancy Ann RANDALL, daughter of Unknown RANDALL and EMELINE. Nancy was born Apr 1847 in North Carolina.
They had the following children:

6. Mary Ann POWERS (Jesse1) was born 31 May 1846 in Buncombe County, North Carolina. She died 14 Feb 1918 in Limestone, Buncombe County, NC. Mary married (1) Noah L. FRADY about 1865. Noah was born 27 Mar 1847 in North Carolina. He died 15 Sep 1922 in Limestone, Buncombe County, NC.
They had the following children:

+ 19. F ii Julia J. FRADY was born 25 Feb 1872 in Buncombe County, NC. She died 15 Mar 1907 and was buried in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Skyland, NC. Julia married (1) T. P. JOHNSON.
+ 20. F iii Bertha Mae FRADY was born 13 Feb 1880 in Buncombe County, NC. She died 23 Jul 1945 and was buried in Mount Zion Baptist Church, Skyland, NC.
+ 21. F iv Mary Etta FRADY was born 22 Mar 1877 in Buncombe County, NC. She died 5 Jan 1913 and was buried in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Skyland, NC. Mary married (1) Benjamin Jonah RHODES. Benjamin was born 20 Jan 1880 in North Carolina.

She died 8 Jul 1928 in Black Mountain, Buncombe County, NC and was buried in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC. Sarah married (1) Lorenzo Sevier PRESSLEY, son of William PRESSLEY and Didamia DARNELL, about 1865 in Jackson County, NC. Lorenzo was born 20 Jan 1840 in South Carolina. He died 8 Jun 1917 in Black Mountain, Buncombe County, NC and was buried in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC .
